It will be interesting to see how the stock performs after the next quarterly, Woodside will be announcing their quarterly results on October 22nd. I feel like this will be an infliction point for Woodside in the coming days. I expect Woodside to turn heads on results and have high hopes, especially considering the price of LNG since August has been over $2, the world is also not in as strict lockdowns as Q1 & Q2 (unless you're a Victorian!) which is advantageous for us as we sell largely to economies which have eased restrictions.
As a holder some key things I will be looking for are:
- Demand
- News on potential acquisitions/capitalising on a damaged industry
- Production rates
- Cash flows
