Maybe Dana are emulating Woodside by treating multi million deepwater drillholes as a scientific experiment. Possibly they want to test the hypothesis that with 2D seismic and CSEM, one doesn't need 3D seismic?
How's that for a quick off the top of the head (rational?) explanation?
