That is correct HT1, WPL's net dbt is USD 4.319 bil.

It's high bcoz of the funds raised for the Apache asset acq as u've alluded to.

Balnaves acq frm Apache isn't doing great although it only had a sub-5yr reserve life.

Corallina-Laminaria sale should b almost finalised. Wonder who the sucker is to stump up cash for more abandonment costs & a few years of reserves. Its done 200+ milbbls since Nov'1999, massive cashcow for WPL for 16 years.

Stybarrow went dry last year, so WPL really need to discover new oil pools or buy some new discovery in a low cost Basin. Cheetah-1 in Cameroon was no good. So for now, time taken to fix issues at Vincent has paid off with steady production. Big relief.

Back in 2011 WPL's net debt was much higher to 2015, at about US5.06bil.

They have cash of US122mil & undrawn debt facility of US1.6b.So liquidity is US1.722b. U dont pay interest on undrawn debt. Pls refer page 91-94 of their recent Annual Report.

Sad for Browse, great day for Gorgon with its first LNG shipment. Browse discv'd in 1971, Gorgon in 1981.

Still remember the 1998 tests at G'gon#3 well, its just grown in size. Pity Woodside never bothered picking up equity in that field in their own backyard. Sometimes u've just gotta shake yr head. Wonder if WPL will now chase down Hess for their Equus gas & tie that into Pluto. Again just a matter of common-sense & negotiating y'r way thro' an asset in one's own backyard. That didn't work with Apache last decade & eventually WPL had to stump up loads of cash to buy the out eventually.

They'll pull through this sector downturn, tough as nails.
