Thanks for the thoughts gents,
Agreed ! Interesting to note that Bogue has 3 targets as discussed in the past. Looking at the Well Schematic of sotto in the November 2004 AGM Presentation, it appears we may also have 3 targets being in the same sand channel. (Late Miocene, Top Miocene B and the primary top Miocene)
Considering the primary target is between 2792m - 2972m, any thoughts as to why the revised total depth has been changed from 3000M to 3350M ? (secondary targets are from 1400m - 1525m and 2000m - 2050m).
Perhaps we have another target ??
As for WPL being themselves, No doubt! Bogue is huge ! The mapped structure appears at the very least twice the size of Tiof's current defined boundaries.
Regarding Uganda, Positive news out of Heritage overnight !
In Uganda, subsequent to testing high concentrations of carbon dioxide gas in the Turaco-3 well drilled last year, the Company is acquiring a 90 km infill seismic program of data over the Kingfisher prospect on the shores of Lake Albert. Detailed sampling surveys for the detection of carbon dioxide have revealed that concentrations decrease significantly northwards toward Lake Albert, away from the source in the south. Despite high concentrations of carbon dioxide in Turaco-3, the well confirmed all the elements of a working petroleum system in the Albert Graben, with the potential for large oil accumulations.
