Its a good question.....I guess the answer is if an offer was made then WPL would basically be admitting FAR has a case. I dont expect WPL to make the first bid based on the above, but if a large co was to flick a bid at SNE then as night follows day you could bet that the bidding co thinks pe is winnable. WPL will either have to bid or take its chances in arbitration.
The short answer for me is, what value do you place on the pre emptive rights? If the chance of getting that up is good the 500 million would be a good deposit IMO.DB
