kind of, the chart provides some probability of future direction based on the supply and demand for the stock the way I read them(not a fan of the TA of the person you're replying to but that's just my opinion, if it works for them that's all that matters). But maybe even more importantly it gives you the correct buy/sell points where the stock should move if you're right and also has a close by point where you know you are wrong and can cut losses quickly ... that's maybe the biggest advantage over funnymentalists, they will rarely know they're wrong till it's too late
