The fact is Western govt is just all talk and no action hence China battery makers are firmly in control of price and the Li price now is very poor.
They can source from South America, Africa, Australia and also internally China has low grade spod
Canada has proven by NAL and now SYA as a jurisdiction that is very hard to operate in - can't turn a profit for miners and this will be the sentiment about Canadian miners until a successful profitable miner can change that narrative.
But even if WR1 can be profitable it won't show the market empirically until at least 2029 a good 5 to 6 years away
