There is definitely a big source of optionality for lithium buyers. South America, Africa, Australia and interally China.
The argument that North America wants to build their own supply chain is slowly being unraveled as western car markers are significantly scaling back their EV plans, the economies of scale for a stand alone closed loop North American lithium supply chain just simply isn't there.
