it's sentiment, and sentiment in exploration is ultimately the direction of the price of the underlying commodity, not its absolute level
in lithium of course the headline spot price is 5% of the market in only one of the chemicals it becomes, and we are all very suspicious of the recent "buyer's revolt" in China... leading commentators agree the price makes no sense
but until this works itself out, hot money will go elsewhere. buyer's market
