Thought you all may be interested in seeing a visual of satellite imagery (from sentinel hub) + NASA fire data referenced against various tenements. Good satellite images are hard to come by so i had to splice a few together from the best of a bad bunch of recent images.
The cargair marker is very rough (as i got bored looking for something that was able to be accurately georeferenced). If you have something more accurate, please correct me. CE mentioned that WR1 helis had been requisitioned by the state as per PMETs, so i'm assuming they're not currently at camp.
The fire markers are a combination of MODIS, VIIRS and LANDSAT fire centroids from the most recently available data. Hopefully the teams are safe and we're near the end of the emergency, as Kaeho mentioned, rains are on the way. We've had a couple of false starts resumption wise where fires have disappeared from detection for a few days then reignited, hoping this time is different. Maybe some exploration positives can come from this once it's all over?
