Working for a major resource company myself, i can sympathize with the situation - i know for a fact even with our far larger resources we still have been/are at the mercy of contractors, and changing/fixing it isn't as simple as just "getting a new one".
Whilst challenges getting the lab work optimised, at least they are drilling - and started when they said they would.
Let's see if they achieve the metres they outlined in their last correspondence, to me that's more important.
