That's right; spot prices do indeed affect SPs of both producers and explorers, whether it's lithium, gold, or any other commodity. It makes sense for producers but really no sense for an explorer who won't be selling any product for several years. But of course it's all about market sentiment and unfortunately that affects all companies involved. By the time we're mining and selling the lithium price could be double or treble the current price but punters don't give a damn. At the moment lithium is taboo to them - apart from one or two WA explorers.
