Ignore is a problematic way of dealing with a symptom of the problem. The problem is the mods do not moderate those who come here with the intention of hurting the financial interests of the company by telling lies and vaguely credible half-truths.

The issues are twofold.

Those looking to invest may believe those lies and vaguely credible half-truths unless they are challenged. Playing the ball has limited value when your opponent is playing a different game that has few if any rules and where the umpire is only looking at you.

People must be able to recognise that posts by poster X have no credibility. HC offers no such mechanism - one must keep posting about it.

The second issue is that, with the frequency that some of our low lives post, it is difficult to follow any discussion here if you put them on ignore.

Hot crapper could fix these things, but they won't because controversy brings eyeballs, brings clicks, brings advertising dollars.
