    Good points dtab, of course the BIG one for me is simply that if the US,EU and Asian nations are happy to give up a 1/4 of their economies ( and sovereignty) to China forever,then the China spot lithium and futures is meaningful.

    Basically EU,US, Asian economies after very very slow start are realising that they do need a seperate and independent battery chemical chain of supply all the way to the EV’s. China’s dominance is enormous atm but it will slowly change , and so to will it’s effect on global pricing ( boom or bust).
    So how relevant will a dodgy China spot lithium price be in a few years? My guess is not nearly as much as now…
    Hey don’t take my word about Chinese companies intentions, read what they actually are boasting about.
