I'm not sure we can draw parallels with PMET. I think almost all of their shareholders would be North Americans. The local PMT gets its valuation pretty much directly from PMET's SP + currency exchange differential. If PMET was strictly an Australian company with majority Australian shareholders their MC would probably be well below $1B now and the difference between theirs and ours nowhere near as great. Why not compare us to SYA or GT1 instead? I have to say that Big Kev is not entirely wrong that Canada is being seen by Australian investors for its negative aspects more so than positive aspects at the present time. I'd say that'll change if and when US demand for spodumene increases to fuel a substantial uptake of EVs.
