Clipsed, &/or any others who have experience in mining operations.

Spod prices are now getting to the stage that processing SC6 is becoming uneconomical.

CXO has stopped mining and may get to a total C&M stage. Mt Marion, Bald Hill (MIN), NAL (SYA) and even Mt Cattlin (AKE) are not too far behind CXO with costs. So all of these mines could be making a loss or very close to it at current prices.

My question is what strategic options would these mines be looking at, would they close down mining operations and sell down current stockpiles, would they cotinue to stockpile but refuse to sell at prices below cost, would they reduce nameplate production, or would they look for operational savings and still look to continue production at such tight margins.

Prices are getting to the stage that operational decisions will need to be made so I am curios what options ate more likely to be adopted.
