And if the market always got it right, then there would be no opportunity value in betting against it. There would be no volatility. Rather it is a casino of wills, who can see the path ahead, and who are controlled by their emotions to weave all over the road, and into the ditch.
The market price, when in the hands of the sheep trade, can create a chasm of discount that can rebound to multiples.
