yeah it's just silly talk. EV mandates are for EVs, not hybrids. In the short-term there is a hybrid market but it won't last unless governments do a 180 on climate change policy. They've gone too far to turn back, and this (and especially the next generation) of voters are convinced it's necessary. Then there's commercial vehicles and ESS.
