that's why Mitsubishi paid such a premium to buy into FL. It was an acknowledgement that the market is bad now / their assets are undervalued. If CE and SI are talking with potential partners who see the market / valuations the same way (a precondition for talks advancing, I would imagine) then why not make the deal sooner rather than later? The company has multiple viable suitors and should be able to determine which is the most eager to secure North American spod supply, ideally with assistance from their govt.
