yes exactly, imo the next raise will be a deal with a strategic (plus some FTF) and may comprise
- placement at premium to SP to provide working capital
- commitment to provide or facilitate debt financing for capex
- offtake prepayment?
- equity share in conversion facility?
I assume WR1 will pay for Renard entirely in equity in March 2025, March 2026 and March 2027 when SPs are higher than today. Maybe 25m additional shares total.
Capex I think could be as low as 150m AUD for plant upgrade and Winsome's share of road costs, ie far less debt financing required than what Mitsubishi will facilitate for FL (who are aiming for just 160ktpa production, compared to WR1 which should manage 300-400ktpa for a tiny fraction of the capex.)
