It's not crap Mark, although yes, PMET did the same thing last time around.
Down dip is not true thickness and the absence of cross sections is problematic for those who are trying to calculate potential resource sizes.
That is after all, the reason why companies are required to release assay results to the market.
There are a few reasons where drilling down dip is good practice based on my understanding of these things, but none of them appear to fit here.
As you say, perhaps in good time there will be proper drill holes that confirm that what is under the ground at CV13 is a decent deposit.
The challenge is that it does take considerable time to drill out a decent deposit and PMET is only just getting started at CV13.
That I think PMET intends to make CV13 the source of early production at Corvette, makes the extra time required to drill it out problematic.
