I E, there was another interesting point made by one of the panel in that video you posted the other day: that after a few years of selling EVs they don't only need lithium for the new car batteries, but also for the battery replacements that the older cars will require. Thinking about it that way, the demand for lithium should be pretty much a case of exponential growth, provided new materials and technologies don't make lithium redundant. At the moment I think markets are only focussing on the here and now, being blinkered by the negative short term sentiment and not seeing the upside to come at all.
