Who says there will be a recovery?
It could just be the case of a permanent bear market.
Who says there need to have a recovery in the Li sector at all? China and Africa production is enough for their use and any extra tons needed just comes from the current and plenty incumbent producers like PLS, Sigma, Min Res, IGO/Tianqi, SQM etc who are fighting each other to sell and/or expand their production.
There appears zero need for Canadian producers and once Sayona shuts up shop its over for Canada Li sector. James Bay ptoject has been put on ice now .
