Hey mate,

I respectfully disagree. He's a smarter bloke than I am and has provided valuable insights over the years, especially in the GXY/AKE threads, so I don't ignore people like that. The only ones I have on ignore are the overly repetitive, nonsensical posters who add nothing to the conversation (like Kev and RAF). You actually learn more from those you disagree with than from those who share your views. That being said, on balance I agree with most of what Gareth has said here, and has said elsewhere. He's generally pretty objective and it's worth taking note of his input, leaving aside the potshots and pissing contests.

I just don’t appreciate grandstanding and dishonesty, which is why I’ve fired a few shots here and there. But give it some time, and egos will settle down. Market downturns like this tend to bring out the worst in people, myself included.

Once the WR1 share price is heading comfortably north, which I expect early to mid-next year, no-one will give a sh*t about the TA vs FA argument, or the "my company is better than yours" nonsense. Everyone gets to claim that their investment thesis is correct, and we all get to be geniuses again (until the next downturn). And on and on it goes.....
