Can someone please explain to me, why a tier one battery company is investing in second class spodumene projects (GT1) to build a regional integrated lithium chemical business?
Okay, one of the deposits is only 230km north of the city and port of Thunder Bay. Perfect location I have to admit.
But the deposit is small, 10.3Mt @ 1.03% Li20??
Might Ecopro be considering several supply sources for their chemical plant? Are they probably already in discussion with Winsome?
But how about transporting concentrate from Renard to Thunder Bay? Is that logistically doable?
