If I was a predator what is most important to me ?
jurisdiction longevity, followed by approvals.
Canada wants to build an EV industry.
Approvals is necessary. But unless you have longevity it can end in tears.
So it’s pointless to have approvals, financed , build your mine, then have it nationalised or frozen or shelved in global conflicts.
And it’s also stressful if you do select best jurisdiction but be constrained by arduous approvals/ lakes / water aquifers etc
Renard is built / to be minor adapted to spodumene / permits / Adina a simple quarry with no lakes.
IMO , that I hold WR1 because i recognise our runway has low risk hurdles to develop, in a country that wants us to develop it, with cheap power options that can lower the opex from both processing and transport with EV trucks as well
as support upstream industries with cheap power.
Unlike Australia who has rising cost of power to make it too expensive to process or industrial development.
