You're entitled to your views mate, just as those who believe the earth is flat or that 5G towers cause cancer are entitled to theirs. But I’m not going to waste my time engaging with conspiracy theories.

On the voting front, I’m genuinely happy for you. No matter who you vote for, what matters most is being engaged, thinking critically about your choice, and understanding why you’re casting your vote a certain way. We all have different priorities, and we vote accordingly, which is exactly how democracy should work. It’s far better than the tribalism we’re seeing in the US, where people blindly defend their "team" no matter how absurd their actions may be.

Just to clarify, I’m not voting for the Greens because they’re "green." As I mentioned in my original post, I’m supporting them because of their coherent housing policy. I believe Labor’s "Help to Buy" scheme and 2% loan deposits, as well as the Liberals’ "raid your super to buy a home" policy, only worsen the problem. Housing affordability for future generations is my priority, and my vote reflects that.

Lastly, if you’re describing One Nation as "libertarian," I’d encourage you to look into their policies. They push for some very anti-libertarian measures, including government-mandated clothing restrictions, mandatory drug testing for welfare recipients, support for internet censorship, opposition to drug decriminalisation, protectionist trade policies (tariffs), increased government surveillance, and criminalising public protests. You’re absolutely free to vote however you like, but One Nation is in no way a libertarian or "freedom" party—they openly oppose several individual and collective freedoms.

    That said, happy voting!
