My post wasn’t supposed to turn anything into a competition. Lithium mines will be economic in multiple jurisdictions - which in turn gives investors some choices as to where to allocate their capital. WR1 has been receiving its fair share of attention recently for good reason - it has great intersections.

Some folks may favour Canada and Australia and have their reasons for doing so while others may look at Brazil and also have their reasons. RIO has been expanding its lithium footprint in Brazil over the last 4-5 months and 3 of the top 5 largest miners in the world all have large operations already (Vale, RIO, BHP).

I’d throw Africa into the discussion, but generally I find most investors don’t want to touch it for obvious sovereign risk reasons.
