debt is good when it earns you more than it costs.
not at all suggesting its a good idea for him. But I just don’t see how anyone can suggest to others what is a good idea or not unless you have all their information… which kind of makes you their financial advisor.
all this said… if you turn to a forum like hotcopper to help you decide.. then I think you are probably caught up in the euphoria and not thinking it through clearly anyway!!
