Would of course like some more US focus in these areas, GM FORD and TOYOTA have dragging the chain for their own benefits ( even while they’re losing their export markets to China) so need ‘ motivation’.
Would’ve thought the Mexican ‘China back door’ issue was enough.
Locally sourced Batt materials such as Adina give encouragement to the rest of the batt supply chain, and any new auto OEM entrants/investments ( helps alleviate some of the difficult issues ie could keep most of the profits for further reinvestment/ taxes /workers pay &entitlements local procurement etc).
