The LGA timeline for Route 167 is old news. It's now likely to be CMIF funded and I hear from a Canadian lithium insider (not connected to WR1) that the whole extension (ie beyond Adina and up to the TT highway) is anticipated to be ready by 2028. A haul road from Renard to Adina is a much smaller project.
A conversion facility could be completed in 1.5 years, so there is still plenty of time to make a deal with a converter who will presumably set up in Becancour.
My thoughts on a deal have changed a bit since the initial euphoria. I think the best strategy is to put off signing binding offtakes for as long as possible, because it's a sellers' market for M&A and as Adina grows and Adina-Renard derisks there's a very good chance RIO or a similar player will just acquire the whole thing.
