Then consider the state of mind of the pretenders.
It is the lottery stakes betting. That is not to say, that others can't strike it, but WR1 have proven that starting with fertile ground is key. And you need that confidence of money markets to keep putting coin in their bread basket to turn the drill bit.

The others will play in the ether of is 20-50mt niche enough ? It really all comes back to individual economics.
Any project that can limit capex spend, and show a decent return on that, doesnt necessarily need the 100mt magic to which we find ourselves.

Every Final Investment decision, comes to the same calculation. Is EBIT going to pay Capex back, IRR, v Risk of fatal flaw, whatever the black swan, or rainbow tape may derail it.
