by the way you are talking, you are making it look like the value of centro is dependent upon it.
but isn't that like saying centro gets sold off, then dpf incurs writedowns, then because of that, the value of centro drops further, which in turn causes more writedowns for dpf, etc etc.
do you mean the centro report is going to be reported negativley because of the effects upon an investor group?
That doesn't make sense, and sounds quite irrelevant to me.
Sounds like perhaps you are hoping for negative news
that's not what buffet would be doing, he would assess the value of the company now, and buy if it was undervalued and oversold, and the underlying business was still strong.
there is a significant difference between subprime re estate loans and major retail centres hosting major chains.
are you waiting/hoping for centro to drop to 10c?
