Thanks for the below, always find these calculations and other opinions interesting. Question though, just because PB ratio is currently 0.55 doesn't mean the SP will trend down to the same degree based on the write-downs. 0.55 is just today's price to book ratio, 2 weeks ago the SP was 10 cents higher. Is it not equally plausible that when the company releases the confirmed write-down that the SP either maintains, bounces or slowly creeps up, given that the unknown is now known?
