IMO not much intangibles from TEVA is amortised over 20 years with yearly amortisation rate at $33M. So for every poor FY of its acquisition it can write down a years worth of amortisation. One of the reasons it can do that is intangible assets are fully tax deductible under U.S law and therefore probably would not have to pay tax per yearly writedown. Question is how many years worth of amortisation is going to be written down?(and hence pay less tax)
This angryprawn fella is amusing to say the least but take a sneak peak at the amount of shorts are being taken - they're not actually shorting the stock in big numbers. But interesting to see what happens.
