The writing was indeed on the wall. They never had much of a chance to start with and had been clutching at straws.
It is NOT due to corruption in the MME as some alledge, but due to adherence to the regulations. You just cant "add in" another mineral that didnt exist on the original licence. It used to be the same under the old Mineral Claim regulations in the W.A. Mining Act, now thankfully changed. Then, if you had pegged for 'asbestos, bismuth.........zircon" and found Antimony, stiff bickies, you had no right to it, and you couldnt "add it in". They MUST have really known that at heart, but were hoping....... Like I posted some time back, it was like trying to add to a Lotto Ticket after the draw - you can try, but it wont get you anywhere.
I feel for those who held on the Uranium hype alone.
