PS: If a vendor tells you they are selling the car on behalf of a relative/mate,
beware...they may not have authority to do so . In that case its neccessary
to do due dilligence to ensure that you get title to the vehicle . A PPSR doesn't do that.

The proper way to consign a vehicle to another person to sell on your behalf is to do
so in writing and if possible via a Stat Dec. As such the buyer should ensure that
the funds are deposited into the actual owners account.

Consigning a vehicle for sale to a licensed motor dealer or an auctioneer has statutory paperwork to be completed
by both vendor and the customer. The licensed person has to have a Trust Accounts to accommodate the transaction
    and for consumer protection.

Hope that helps because there's a lot of scams going around
like..." I'm selling the car for a mate whose in a submarine in the South
China Sea and for National Security reasons he cant be contacted and he needs
the lollies quick because his partner is having a baby !!!!! etc etc etc."
