    Lama,

The problem is that on the proxy vote form it said:
"The Chairman of the Meeting intends to vote undirected proxies in favour of each item of business."

He can't have that on the document and then vote differently to it. Whether it is wanted or not, regardless of how one feels about Askin, he did not vote the proxies way this document said he would.

Now it was actually the vice-chairman of the meeting who cast the proxy votes for the Askin resolution (#12), but I think the problem still holds.

Did he actually intend to use the proxies against himself? No! That is clear in the Notice discussing the whole process. Unfortunately, this stuff up was printed on the proxy form itself (probably just left there from the previous proxy form they used as a template), and a complete oversight, which, none the less, is incorrect, and could have confused voters, or voted against their actual wishes.

If the proxies for resolutions #10 and #12 are discarded, or vote half and half, the resolutions would pass, and Dunmore and Askin would lose their seats. They both had less than 53% of the vote.
