Potentia tests appetite for SuperChoice.. pp 14 of todays AFR.
My comments..SuperChoice is closest to Wrkr in market share and it will be interesting what bids are garnered in a trade sale. I have in past used the Potentia purchase price of SuperChoice as a measure of the relative undervaluation of WRK. I have previously suggested that Gray and Reed at Potentia made a mistake buying SuperChoice. It appears that they have moved on and are looking at bigger deals in other areas and have under invested in SuperChoice during their ownership. With the Link/Wrkr deal I believe the Potentia guys are aware that Link/Wrkr are on the verge of 'eating their lunch' (mediaatt might say..but its a skinny lunch offering!!) . If Potentia are trying to handball the biz on before the loss of market share starts to show it will be interesting what price they take. The question of.. will it be a loss on their acquisition price? I believe the answer will be a big yes!
