Wrkr "Disruptive" Platform, page-68

I am super interested in the small-cap investors and why it seems they are driven to look for success stories.

I have read all of the posts about WRKR here and continue not to understand why there is a view that LINK provides a significant opportunity for WRKR. Now if you listen to the WRKR propaganda, it seems like a valid position to take, although when you look at the LINK business, it is difficult to understand the position clearly.

Now if you head over to the HC LINK posts, look at share performance and look at their reporting, it is pretty clear they have some "management & board" issues, some loss of business, the UK pension test was a shitshow, and the market is treating the stick accordingly.

The interesting thing is a different set of investors at LINK are looking for the same glimmers of hope you see across all small-cap investing. LINK was listed at $6.30ish in 2015 and is now worth $1.20ish with with a good chunk of that in the last 12 months! It is not in a good way and it would seem that LINK is being used to prop up the WRKR story to the point of "profitable" which is highly unlikely if you look at all the data available.

So I guess I am wondering what drives the always positive attitude of the small-cap investor and why is this the case when successful investing is actually all about all "rules" & "data" (effectively)... And the other question is with small caps you are never going to lose large amounts of cash so is it all about the "interest in the investment" rather than the investment?
