Comparing Laterites to Sulphides is s bad idea- no comparison imo. Sulphides are the real deal smelter product going through kns- laterites on the other hand go through the expensive hit and miss acid bath. Remember Avalon/Bulong nightmare (Twiggy failure) followed by Ravensthorpe Laterite project multi billion $ Bhp flop. A decent Sulphide deposits like Wsa have are rare! and within range of Australia's biggest (only) Ni smelter in Kalgoorlie. Rare as hens teeth.
