This listed Iron Ore and Diamond Exploration Company is currently focusing on the feasibility studies for new ventures in Western Australia. Due to this particular project emphasis, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the study from their Adelaide office.

This position is instrumental in the management of feasibility studies, exploration, marketing and organisation of EPCM contactors for the initial design, construction and commissioning. Also involved is the coordination of tenders and sourcing of funding for potential joint venture opportunities. You will manage all aspects of the project development and be instrumental in bringing tender bids to fruition.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering together with extensive experience negotiating within mine owner terms for prime contractors and consultants. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience working in a senior management capacity. A strong working knowledge of the Western Australian iron ore mining segment is essential.

This position is based in the Adelaide office and requires regular travel to Perth. For the successful candidate, this client is willing to offer an outstanding salary package including relocating costs to Adelaide.
