The NASDAQ 100 index rise of 0.9% was less than the 1.06% rise of the overall NASDAQ index. Which indicates that the small & mid-cap companies added substantially to the result. There has been some talk in recent days that both the US & local market are experiencing a rotation out of the small & mid-cap momentum names.
The overnight action is perhaps a pause in that flow. Only time will tell if the pause turns into a reversal.
