Have a look at the cahrt - it is now at near record lows but with a much more dilute share holding.
It is a single product facility, have a look at what hapened to PLT, wich seems to have been given a new life after going from 3bucks to 3 c, now at about 40c
It's not a "first mover" anymore, there are other, next generation, smaller LVA devices not too far behind, maybe 3 years which gives exaclty that sort of window to exploit.
The US market prefers US-made devices - see the history books for Telectronics, the Aussie company that was owned by Dunlop aka Ansell, that collapsed after moving to the US, and was bought out by St Judes for a song. Telectronics at one stage was no 3 or 4 heart pacemaker manufacturer in the world, and was spn off by Dunlop together with companion company Cochlear. OK that is a single product facility too, and seems to be the model we all imagine VCR will be.
It is finding European barriers, the market and sales were overestimated imho, and there are now heart assist devices on the horizon that will probably replace the pumps; they surround the heart and act like an additional layer of muscle fibres to assist contractions. There will also be US barriers.
It is no longer "Best in breed" - doesn't have a product that blows away all rivals
Burning cash at a fast rate and has an annual ritual of going to the sophisticated invstors at 10% under sp for more money, which immediately causes the sp to quickly move down to the insto price. I can imagine if I were one of the SIs I would very quickly dump what I have been gioven for a small profit, and a sigh of relief. More shares on the market dilutes shares even further and has pushed the share price down again, and these institutional investors almost certainly did NOT generate more interest in the Ventrassist and give the sp a boost.
All my humble opinion, do your own research, do not believe a word I say, and rember I have kept a small parcel (that I have written off) much like taking out a Tatts ticket, you never know!
