I had said something along the lines of that I think she looked much better with longer hair and I don't know why she shaved her head.

I don't know, when you're the Chairman of a publicly listed company and you are sick like this, are you supposed to disclose it to the owners of the company?

As terrible as it is, I would say you probably need to tell the shareholders if the chairman seat is absent for X amount of time. Probably not the best comparison, but look that mess in the US when the Defense Secretary Llyod Austin went to hospital for a few days cause of prostate cancer.

At the end of the day, we have all known people close to us who have had cancer and nobody would deliberately make a joke about it.
