The same principle applies to a person banned and coming back under a different name, what does it matter, it is the content that should be discussed. That said, I would agree if a poster is banned for good reason then that poster should stay away or have a rethink about what they want to say (appropriate, respectful) and how to write it. That's all about the person behind the mask not really about the name chosen as an avatar. And nobody (presumably) knows the person.

It must be a helluva challenge moderating discussion boards. Freedom of speech is to be welcomed but with that comes a multitude of problems given diverse personalities.

The thrust of my post is intended more of a satirical look at forums. How ridiculous it seems for anonymous people to make cast iron judgements on people they don't know! At times it is good fun, wondering if someone is serious or baiting 'hanging out a line'.
