I don't know that there will be a win.
I'm simply making the connection between a firm not earning money and proclaimed by many to have a broken operating model and a hedge fund shelling out $$m where that outlay would be recouped if the claim is won.
I then wonder why people post about Anchorage as a smart hedge fund that know their game and why they would invest in SGH - even at a heavily discounted price it would still be wasted money if the business in not viable (broken model as people say) and no money coming from the claim.
The claim has to be central to Anchorage plan, I believe. There would be a touch of irony if Anchorage steamed into SGH without robust due diligence on the most likely source of their pay day.
That's all. Nothing misleading, just assumptions not dissimilar to assumptions you and others make on HC daily.
Worthy of debate I think. Why did Anchorage invest?
