Dilution...what dilution? The 450m will go straight onto the market cap. Think about it.

Without the that cash if IO price tanks later in the year or even next year AGO will be back in the mess that they're still trying of get out of right now... like a never ending vortex of debt and then that's when you will get more dilution at even worse terms than before, more likely a liquidation.

The debt holders want their money, that's all they care about. Do you think they have a better chance of getting it if there is 450 mil in the bank? As some of the debt holders are suppliers and contractors it's also in their interests to keep the company afloat for obvious reasons.

As for their free options, it's also in their interest for the price to increase because they can sell them if they don't want to exercise them, if they haven't sold already. Personally I think the AGOO won't be in the money because of the downward pressure it would have on the SP, affecting the AGOOA which are the real prize we're after.

Receiving 450 mil would mean if the IO price tanks AGO can just stop mining without the risk of going under, don't want to be developing a mine (CD) and mining ore at a loss when you still owe 10s of millions. I don't think they would use the 450 mil to fast track new projects, seriously how stupid do you think the management are, I'm pretty sure that it would be kept there as a buffer, as you stated that is what caused this trouble in the first place, if you can see that I'm sure they can too.

Cashflow does not equal profit.

Please do, that would equate to a P/E of 1. I would like to hear of such a company.
