Given that a significant amount of Australia's immigration in the 2nd half of the 19th
century consisted of those who left their old European lives for the hope/chance of
wealth and a new life following gold discoveries in Australia,- Bendigo,Ballarat etc-, it's somewhat ironic
that mining of metals is now viewed by many to be the antithesis of progress.

IMO one significant advantage that IVR has, is that most of it's assets are located in
the relatively mining friendly state of South Australia.
Simply as a point of comparison, consider the trials that SVL has had to endure in NSW,
or the luddite attitudes of the current WA government to uranium mining.

Much of this is still driven by the "clean green" ideology which is beginning to be seen
for what it is,ie; largely unrealistic. Example: they claim to want solar,or wind driven,
or banning of ICE vehicles for battery powered, all of which require lots of Silver,
but don't want to allow mining.
So, here's to SA, and IVR!
