Exactly...an outrageous waste of money to cover up for Public Servant ineptness and stupidity! They just forgot to check the thousands of travelers streaming back in to Australia as to whether or not they were healthy....so we are now paying...BIG TIME.
The first load from China went to Christmas Island...after that thousands poured in through airports going out in to the streets. The same Public Servants let hundreds of infected people off Cruise Ships to wander the streets.
...a Journo made the comment...how many of the people that have been recorded as dying from COVID-19 actually died from it? There would have been hundreds that were on their last leg due to other illnesses, and may have lasted only a few more days or weeks anyway. The bug may have accelerated their demise, but was not the cause of their demise...
I would definitely challenge the rubbery figures they are hitting us with to justify their insane lunacy of totally killing off an economy that was on it's knees to start with, to "save" a few older folk that could have been easily isolated.
The crack up is, as soon as these clowns think it is time to get every body back to work, that'll be when the economy is totally rooted and good people are committing suicide in despair, there will be no resistance or natural immunity in society to this bug, it will hit again with vengeance...
The smart thing to do would be to let people go back to work, isolate the old, sick and fragile, and let a natural immunity build up, just as we do to the annual Cold and Flu invasion...
